America 250 Parade – PA Camping Style
On the afternoon of July 4, 2026, campgrounds throughout Pennsylvania will host their own patriotic parades—creating a coordinated celebration happening all across the state.
Whether you’re camping in the Poconos, Dutch Country, or Western PA, you’ll be part of something bigger—a shared experience celebrating America’s 250th birthday.
What to Expect
Pennsylvania campgrounds are known for their fun, family-friendly holiday traditions—and this event builds on that excitement.
At participating campgrounds, you may see:
- Golf cart parades decked out in red, white & blue
- Decorated bikes, wagons, and scooters
- Themed hayrides
- Walking parades for families and kids
- Music, games, and festive campground activities
Each campground will add its own unique twist—so no two celebrations will be exactly alike!
Add a Taste of History
To make the celebration even more special, many campgrounds will incorporate Pennsylvania’s history into the weekend.
Look for:
- “Revolutionary Recipes” inspired by historic Pennsylvania dishes
- Campground cook-offs and picnics
- Themed activities that bring history to life
It’s a fun (and delicious) way to connect with the past while celebrating the present.
Campgrounds Are the Perfect Place to Celebrate
Campgrounds have always been places where families gather, traditions grow, and memories are made.
