Senior Groundskeeper

Summary The Senior Groundskeeper is responsible for the cleanliness and upkeep of our 63-acre campground, venue, and cafe property. This role requires a high attention to detail and ensuring all areas of the property are well-manicured and presentable for wedding and campground guests. This individual will work with our other groundskeeping team members to assign and prioritize work as well as confirm that such tasks are completed at a high level of quality. Responsibilities Supervision and Leadership: Assigning work, ensuring tasks are completed, and potentially training new employees. Grounds Maintenance: Mowing, trimming, planting, fertilizing, pruning, and maintaining trees, shrubs, and lawns. Equipment Operation and Maintenance: Operating and maintaining various groundskeeping equipment, including mowers, trimmers, and potentially larger machinery like tractors. Landscape Design and Maintenance: Assisting with landscape design, installing irrigation systems, and maintaining planting areas. Job Flexibility: Due to the diversity of our operation, grounds keeping encompasses indoor and outdoor work that will ensure our guests are happy with their stay. Other assigned tasks will arise based on those customer needs. Requirements Technical Skills: Proficiency in operating various groundskeeping equipment and tools. Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and working outdoors in various weather conditions. Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy and quality in grounds maintenance tasks. Campground Cafe Manager

Summary The Campground Store Manager will work varying shifts while leading our cafe, bar, and campground store teams. In addition to their leadership role, this candidate will assist guests with campground reservations, retail sales, liquor sales, and cafe/ice cream/coffee sales while operating our Toast point-of-sale and NewBook reservation systems. The Manager will assist with store, liquor, and cafe inventory control and ordering, and also assist with scooping ice cream, making sundaes, espressos, and assisting in the kitchen and bar. They will conduct performance reviews, staff scheduling and hiring, and monitor the industry to help introduce new products/services/offerings to keep our guests engaged and continuing to choose Lakewood Park. Responsibilities Manage Campground Store, Cafe, and Bar Staff (approx 10+ employees) Conduct Performance Reviews and Staff Hiring Manage Staff Schedules Assist guests with making RV, tent, or cabin reservations (in-person or over the phone). Scan items, collect payment, and provide applicable change for retail and cafe sales. Restock shelves and rotate/face shelves. Assist customers with locating merchandise Assist with Ice Cream scooping, creating Sundaes, serving bakery items, etc in the cafe as applicable. Check-in and Check-out reservations at the campground. Coordinate with housekeeping as cabins check-out so they are aware which cabins can be cleaned. Learn and be able to execute on menu items in the cafe kitchen & bar. Manage store/cafe Inventory and Re-ordering Manage Lottery Ordering/Operations Foster positive relationships with co-workers and vendors. Assist with other tasks as assigned Requirements 4+ years in retail/cafe/bar management required. Campground Store/Office/Operations experience is preferred Effective oral communications and interpersonal skills Knowledge of cash handling procedures Ability to work weekends (will get at least one weekend off per month) Hours This role is full-time (30+ hrs per week) and will primarily work on weekends - either AM/PM shifts (can likely be flexible with proper notice).
